The Ministry of Economy and Environment has signed today an important agreement with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), a project worth EUR 2.8 million, which helps waste treatment in four municipalities in the region of Prizren. This is not the first assistance provided by the Japanese Government, by the Japanese people. We have always been lucky to have them stand by us", said Minister Nitaj.
The Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Kosovo, Mitsunori Ogasawara, said that this is a technical assistance agreement between the Government of Japan and the Government of Kosovo.
"This agreement is about technical assistance, as last November we donated 15 trucks for waste collection for the region of Prizren. I hope that Japanese experts will visit Kosovo soon and cooperate with the people of Kosovo", he said.
