Prishtina, 21 March 2011 – The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands in Prishtina, Robert Bosch, promised the support of his country for Kosovo in relation to the restitution of the agreement on preferential trading between Kosovo and the European Union. Other items of discussion during the meeting of the Minister of Economic Development, Besim Beqaj, with Ambassador Bosch included the bilateral cooperation of the two countries, with special emphasis on the economic sphere, which is covered by MED.

At this occasion, both representatives expressed their readiness to engage in finding a prompt solution for the trade agreement with EU, the absence of which is causing problems for local businesses.

At this meeting, ambassador Bosch expressed the interest and support of the Kingdom of Netherlands to the development of spheres such as industry and agriculture.

On the other hand, Minister Beqaj expressed his gratitude to the Dutch diplomat and assessed that Kosovo needs Holland’s continuous support, including the support on the issue of the trade agreement with EU.
