Prishtina, 17.11.2014 - Minister of Economic Development, Fadil Ismajli, with his associates visited Kosova B Power Plant, and inspected final works in the cogeneration project, which will connect the B1 Unit with Termokos j.s.c., which aims to improve the supply of heat for the city of Prishtina.
During the inspection of works, Minister Ismajli was accompanied by the director of TPP Kosovo B, Luigj Imeri, CEO of Termokos, Arsim Janova, and representatives of the project implementation company, IMTECH, and was informed on the progress of works towards the successful completion of the project.
On this occasion, Minister Ismajli requested full mobilization of all stakeholders involved in the implementation of this project, and to comply with the deadlines defined for its finalization, and ensure that the delays do not affect other services to citizens.
From their part, KEK managers, and Termokos and IMTECH representatives, ensured Minister Ismajli that there was a more intensive dynamic in the recent weeks and, as scheduled, installation works were successfully completed, and that after testing the system, the 26 November 2014 is the expected date when the project will enter into operation.
Otherwise, the implementation of the cogeneration project was made possible through mutual funds of the European Commission, German Government through KfW, Swedish Government, Government of Luxembourg and the Municipality of Prishtina.
