Prishtinë, 01.11.2016 – Today heads of the Ministry of Economic Development and the World Bank took part in the certificate award ceremony for 99 participants who successfully accomplished the training within the WOW Pilot Project (Women in Online Business).

In this occasion the Minister Blerand Stavileci, highly assessed the WOW Pilot Project by emphasising that this is one of the best initiatives in this sector, which aims at employing women in ICT, which is in line with the goal in this priority field.

“Observing how other countries and societies are developing, we thought that apart from big things, we should do some projects that may be implemented in different municipalities of our country, so that they can be direct beneficiaries. In the concrete case, you that went through this project know that its implementation enabled a good part of you to gain experience and have employment opportunities”, said Stavileci.

He thanked the World Bank for its support in this project and their support for the future which will continue within the scope of joint projects in the field of ICT.
